TOO PRETTY FOR PORN is the aural lovechild of Australian guitarist, Sean Young and the enigmatic Philly-born singer/bassist known simply as deLUXE.
After conspiring in a top-secret basement laboratory under the sea, the duo have emerged with their self-produced debut ‘essesin’, “a startlingly original musical thought” that they refer to as neofunk or afro-gothic r&b.
Whether singing about revolutionary psycho-sexual feminist politics on songs such as “deviate” & “and you don’t stop", or having the ironic final word on the banality of 21st century mainstream hip hop with their first single “say player”, 2P4P's lyrical content is every bit as original and powerful as the music behind it.
