Biography
Mick has completed a Diploma in Performing Arts through ACE (Australian College of Entertainment) and an Advanced Diploma in Songwriting at SCA (School of Creative Arts).
Mick produced his first EP, ‘Beginning the Dream’, in 1998. In 2002 he wrote and recorded ‘Heartbeat of Africa’ after visiting an orphanage in northern Uganda and in 2004 he co-wrote and produced ‘After the Rain’ with Elizabeth Connolly.
Mick’s most recent work, an EP of 6 songs recorded with “The Usual Suspects”, is now available on itunes. The members of “The Usual Suspects”: Andy Worsnop (guitar), Kelvin Dorsey (drums), Becca Roze (flute), Gary Rickets (bass) and Mick Peaker (guitar and vocals) together, bring a fresh dynamic to their blend of rock/folk, twists of country, and songs from the heart.
