Chyp Davis is an accomplished singer, songwriter, producer, musician, composer and performer/entertainer, whose love of music has developed him into the artist he is today. He has traveled the world playing drums, working with many world renowned and world class artists on stage and behind the scenes. His singing career began while singing background vocals as a drummer and then he began opening up for the bands he was touring with. It wasn’t until he ventured out as a solo artist, that his sultry voice and exciting stage presence had him opening for Cameo, Kool and the Gang , Martha Reeves and The Vandellas and the Original Parliament/Funkadelic. He’s sung with the Doo Wop and Vocal Hall Of Fame group “ The Flamingo’s “and was also the lead singer and front man for the Grammy Award winning group “ The Winston’s“, as well as being featured on “Everything’s Gonna Be Alright” and “I’m Proud To Be An American”. Earning awards along the way, among them Chyp received a Master Drummer Award from the Fraternal Order of Celestial Musicians Fifth Annual Black Music Awards and the Gold Award for the International Poetry Contest sponsored by www.Poetry.com, both in 2005. He has many drumming credits, from one night events to touring internationally. Some of the groups include: Harold Melvin’s Blue Notes, The Legendary Lead Singers of The Temptations , Damon Harris’ “Temptations Review “, The Supremes, The Drifters, The Platters, Billy Paul, Chubby Checker, The Delphonics and Eddie Holman to name a few of the many groups he has worked with . He has achieved an excellent reputation as an Independent Contractor for productions as a Manager, Music Director, Event Coordinator and Music Contractor for major acts.

His debut CD, “IN MY DREAMS” was released in 2006 and was produced and recorded in the USA and Canada. It is a musical melding of “Ol’ School” and “Neo Soul” infused throughout with sensuous tones and funky beats, spiced with hip hop flavor. It is referred to by his fans as “Candlelight and Wine” music. It hit high up on the charts in Japan, as well as France, Germany and the U.K.. “ In My Dreams” is currently available for sale on www.cdbaby.com .

In 2007, his single was accepted in the www.SoulPatrol.com’s historically groundbreaking, Virtual/Digital Compilation album of unreleased music from various internationally known artists. His song “Competition” received excellent reviews.

Chyp has made the transition from backing up the greats to bringing that same level of quality entertainment to his own shows, evident by the fact that he was chosen by the Armed Forces Entertainment out of thousands, to tour the Mediterranean to entertain our troops. He turned in a five star tour and came back to segue successfully into entertaining in the Washington, DC metro area and around the country.

He is a “Must See” performer, where it is been stated, that he is “As Close As You Can Get” to the original artists !


Andrea Romero,” Santa Fe Songbird” has been singing and dancing all her life. At an early age she was entertaining guests at the internationally renowned restaurant “El Nido” owned at the time by her grandparents, near the Santa Fe Opera in Tesuque, New Mexico. Growing up in Taos, N.M., it was there she began to discover her voice and perform onstage. Writing music and returning to the Santa Fe area, she took the stage with her band as a young teenager, to sing a mixture of R&B, Soul, Reggae and originals. She and her group entertained at Military bases, resorts, clubs and theaters across the state.

After moving to Albuquerque and continuing to perform live, she was inspired to do more recording and explored other areas of musical production. Utilizing her vocal talents, she began singing and writing for jingles and recording voice-overs for video soundtracks and documentary’s. Co-owning an audio production facility and being especially interested in original music, she worked on her own and also recorded with other artists on their projects. She helped to found the New Mexico Music Industry Coalition, recognizing original New Mexico music and later went on to win the top award in 1988, singing Best Musical Production in the Pop category. In 1990 she won again, singing lead vocals for the best R&B song, on the award winning Best Arrangement and back up vocals on the Best Reggae. She had the opportunity to sing on Larry Blackmon’s solo album (from the band Cameo) “In the Face of the Funk”, recorded the internationally released “Christmas Songs” (produced by Eric Larson), “New Mexico Christmas” (produced by Busy McCarroll) and Kevin Hughes' "Wait Until Dark” (produced by John Cline), in addition to many other recordings.

Living in Denver, she became lead vocalist for one of the top Funk Bands in the Mile High City, performing at many of the prestigious venues in the Rocky Mountain region, including the ”Taste of Colorado”, which featured many of the top Bands of the Denver metropolitan area. She also returned to New Mexico to perform onstage in an original musical “Supreme Bar’bar’ella Diva”, a theatrical presentation of Beatnik Spy Music.

From the Southwest to the Mid Atlantic area, where she now resides, Andrea continues to write songs, perform and entertain. As a keyboardist, along with her singing, she possesses a level of professionalism and enthusiasm that leaves her audiences amazed and anxiously awaiting her next performance. Andrea is now recording and touring internationally with Chyp Davis, as she brings her vocal and musical talents to yet another level. As well as being the featured performer, Chyp recognized her talent for business and organization. Placing her at the helm of Virgo Entertainment, which already had a well known reputation for contracting and facilitating Corporate, Private, and Fund Raising events on a national and international level.

  As a Blues and Jazz disc jockey, I say this CD proves Mr. Davis to be a superlative song writer. His vocal style is too mature for the neo-soul audience this disc targets, but no one can dismiss his obvious skill, experience and command of the genre. Chyp can use his vocal mastery to croon, caress or to make "come hither" and the late night longing in his style is more suited for a sophisticated, knowledgeable ear. Eventually, Mr. Davis will release that kind of material and when he is ready to change musical directions, the more appropriate place for him would be the Southern Soul/Blues market ala Clarence Carter or Bobby Blue Bland. But until then, this 2006 "neo-old school" release will guarantee him a place in the dreams of those who are forever young and soulful
