Biography

ArleneWow! has a signature voice and poignant lyrics that attracts fans from many genres of music. Born and raised in New Haven Connecticut, ArleneWow! has performed with many local groups such as Milk, The Unexpected, Vertigo and Little Queen "The Ultimate Heart Tribute". She has released self titled CDs with Milk as well with The Unexpected. Her debut CD "The Red Is Becoming" has brought her immediate recognition and notority among fans and fellow musicians alike.
ArleneWow!'s live performances have been described as "uplifting and emotionally charged".
Gary Allen, drummer for the Charlie Daniel's Band and J.J.Cale, has awarded ArleneWow! 2 wins for her songs "Wrong Side" and "Dirty Road Home" as well as 2 top ten's in his Nashville Music City Beat contest for her songs "Breathe" and "The Flesh". She has also received recognition from Mike Pinder founder of the Moody Blues and Jason Rubal, record producer for Dave Matthews Band. ArleneWow! has been nominated for best solo artist of 2008 by the Hartford Advocate.

  Singer/songwriter ArleneWow! will host a special CD release party for her latest recording “The Red is Becoming” on Saturday, January 12 from 7-10 pm at BAR in New Haven. The music event is free and open to the public.
  ArleneWow! is a natural performer with signature vocals. Born and raised in Connecticut, ArleneWow! has performed with several area groups including Milk, The Unexpected, Vertigo and Little Queen. She has also released a CD with both Milk and The Unexpected. For the last several years, ArleneWow! has been a solo artist and has appeared at many area clubs.
  The singer along with her studio band will perform selections from “The Red is Becoming” at the January 12th release party. Special musical guest will be singer/songwriter Brian Larney.
