Biography

Based in the tradition of contemporary Christian Music, the band formed a few years ago out of the inspiration of Joe Leone, a Theology major and Dan's son who inspired "Dad" to re-kindle his love for performing live again like in the good ol' days with his signed rock band on Columbia Records back in the late 1960's. Success came quickly as they found a need to bring contemporary Christian music to teens and young adults so that they could relate to their faith in God and inspire them to become active members of a Faith Community. Early influences were Chris Tomlin, Lincoln Brewster, Bob Rice, Martin Doman and many others. Our music and testimony invites the audience to join in song, praise and worship. We call it Spirit Rock because it truly rocks the soul!

Discography

. In the summer of 2008, SpiritN3D released their first CD called “These Three Nails” composed of 10 original songs written by the band members. Our second released CD was called "Stand Firm". Then several months ago I was inspired by a workshop about God being present in everything and everyone we encounter each day of our lives and how I only needed to stop my busy life to recognize Him. For me, it was confirmation at a time that I truly needed to know that "He’s Real". It wasn’t long after that I met Miriam Lili, a songwriter from Australia on a Christian songwriter’s website who helped me finish a song that I struggled to complete. Then I realized how much God truly loves me because the songs just kept flowing back and forth from Miriam. She would compose a song and send it to me for a listen and wow, I had a co-writer with a passion for our Lord. In November of 2012 Dan Leone released the 4th SpiritN3D CD called "From Dubai To You" with Miriam Lili on keyboards and a new lead guitarist named Samuel Castilla on each song. This CD was a result of my re-location to the middle east and bringing Chist's message to those in the Arab world.

These talented artists were a sheer delight. Together they made music that touched the hearts of all present. We decided to have Spiritn3D perform to kick off a new ministry at our Parish, The Corporal Works of Mercy Ministry. Our Parish Family has stepped forth together to help the Poor of Haiti. To have Sprirtn3D perform seemed only fitting. Dan Leone has done many wonderful things to help the people of Haiti. This connection was a sure fit for our Kick off. We were fortunate to be able to present HHF with a check that evening, and today we continue to help those less fortunate then ourselves. We look forward to having Spriritn3D return to our Parish Center. It was certainly an evening well spent listening to the words of God, surrounded by family and friends.”

Setlist

The band is capable of performing more than 4 hours of contemporary Christian songs written by today’s top artists and enjoyed by all Christian Churches regardless of affiliation. Depending on audience and the venue, music composition can be soft and mellow for coffee houses and adoration services to all out Hard Rock at concerts and outdoor events. Typical set lists include I Found Jesus, Your Grace Is Enough, Everlasting God, My Redeemer, Big House, Life Is Good, Shine, God's Love Is On The Way, Friend of God, Let It Rise and more than 100 others.
