Biography
In the last four years Michele Monte has recorded and released three albums showing the vast range of her musical talents. Her most recent CD "Orange Soda", is a refreshing take on pop music covering a range of emotional songs that leave you energized and breathless. Listening to Michele's songs will definitely win you over but seeing her perform them live will blow you away. Michele's writing style reflects her wide range of musical tastes. Drawing from personal experiences and the musical influences of Alanis Morissette, Jane Siberry, Bon Jovi, Matchbox 20 and U2, Michele created a sound and style that are all her own.
She possesses an explosive energy that can not be contained. With every word sung that energy washes over her audience leaving them craving more. Her live debut CD "Whole Latte Luv" and second CD "Girl Sweat", both limited releases, have sold over 2,000 copies just in the Suffolk County, Long Island area alone. "Orange Soda" is Michele's most recently produced CD by the ever popular platinum recording artist Phil Jimenez of Wheatus and Gordo Gringo. Michele has also worked with Lori Carson, Nancy Atlas, rock legend Ritchie Blackmore and has opened up for Chris Whitley at Stephen's Talkhouse, Long Island's critically acclaimed venue for national acts.

Setlist
My typical set consists of eight songs and is approximately 45 minutes long. I usually perform two to three sets a night. In general I do not perform covers except for one or two indie artists.
