This Brooklyn, Berlin, London based MC is the exception that could change the rules.
Neither a sex kitten wannabe nor a puppet for a behind the scenes machine,
Yarah Bravo displays defiant intelligence, acute political awareness and a
world-traveler’s sense of cosmic consciousness while exuding the streetwise cool
of the neighbourhood girl we all secretly wanna kick it with...
This fly lady never sleeps, she books her own shows, runs her own label, designs her
own clothes, makes her own videos, records her own vocals, makes her own flyers, put
on her own festival, promotes herself through her myspace, and promotes all her friends
too, even cuts her own hair... all while touring the world and partying with the locals almost
every night of her life.
Sometimes she looks like 14, but she carries the knowledge of someone 4 times
her age.

And when she takes to the stage, that is exactly what you feel. Performing with
a sense of heartfelt urgency, conviction, and youthful energy, she captivates even the
most listless crowd. With more than 4 languages under her belt and as a child of two
freedom fighters, she is a true renaissance woman with a purpose. While others are
content with polluting the airwaves, Yarah Bravo would rather challenge you with breath
of fresh air.
She is the founding member of London's supergroup One Self (Ninja Tune Records)
and the front woman of Dj Vadim's Soundcatcher Soundsystem, blessed with an aphrodisiac
voice that was born to be broadcast.
With endless collaborations under her belt, she is never afraid to push her own boundaries,
saying that every collaborator brings out a different side to her, and she never really knows
what to expect.
End of 2008 Yarah released her first Mixtape - Good Girls Rarely Make History,
an introduction to her debut album now to be released on BBE later this year.

my non existent album"
It sold out within 2 weeks on her myspace!!
As this little B-girl is breaking out on her own...her fan base grows, and it is growing fast.
It seems like this charismatic and openly honest MC might just be the one to change the
game.
