The Dead Lotus Society is not above ripping apart a few teddy bears to manifest their bit of chaos, and we're serious about that.

Much in the same vein of a Chuck Pahlanuik novel, the men and women of the Dead Lotus make it their goal to bring you out of your comfort zone and find zen in chaos.With the mix of Hyatt's surprisingly beastial sounds, eye-ripping beats,screaming guitar riffs and on-stage antics not limited to massive amounts of doll destruction, The Dead Lotus Society takes everyone by surprise.


Described as the bastard child of death and grunge with some "WTF" thrown in for good measure, the Dead Lotus Society is a female fronted metal ensemble with beginnings in Austin,TX that has made its way to the Denver metal scene. In 2010, the band appeared on the 2010 SILENCE ALL TOUR with Seven Year Existence, Austin's first annual BITCHFEST, Texas ROCKFEST and Come and Take It Production's Austin Metal Showcase. This year, they were nominated for Best Music Act in Denver for the 2011 Denver RAWards, placed in the Colorado Music Buzz Magazine's METAL WARS and took the stage at the National Red Cross's JAM 4 JAPAN. In Summer 2012, the band will tour Indonesia courtesy of Facedown Promotions with national Indonesian metal acts REVENGE THE FATE and Bloody Symphony.
