Biography
Holiday At Sea is an Indie Rock band from the St. Louis area. Formed in 2007 by member Brian Hurtgen. Guitar driven alternative rock, often given to instrumental breaks while maintaining some pop sensibility.
Over the last couple of years they have played some notable venues in the St. Louis area such as Cicero's, Pops, Six Flags and Fubar.
Opened for The Tyler Bryant Band at The Firebird in St. Louis in August of 2011.
Holiday At Sea released their first independent album "The Flame Imperishable" on 12/10/2010 and it is available on iTunes.
Reviewed in the "Pick Of The Litter" section of the June/July/August 2011 issue of HM Magazine.
At this point the band is not signed to any label. Influenced by such bands as The Appleseed Cast, Unwed Sailor, Radiohead, Sunny Day Real Estate, Starflyer 59, The Cure, The Beatles and the list goes on and on. Holiday At Sea can fill a 45 min. time slot.
