Born September 22, 1988 The Jack of All Trades LB, a 24-year-old hip-hop songwriter from White Plains, New York began his lyrical expedition toward the turn of the millennium. If you are tired of your run of the mill raps, then LB is going to give you something fresh and innovative with his unique lyrical style of rapping. LB has managed to create a fun and hyper sick combination of tracks that have something for everyone according to Issac Davis Jr of Juniors Cave Magazine.
In the process of recording his first studio EP “The Other Side”, The Jack of All Trades spent his early career studying the different lyrical arrangements of hip hop icons such as Eminem, Pitbull and TI.
Realizing in his early years that he could not depend on others, he took his development into his own hands and invested in his own studio. Ever since he has mastered the arts of recording, mixing and mastering radio ready music right in his own home, developing the pseudonym of The Jack of All Trades.
“I wanted to be more than just an artist, I wanted to control my work, and at the time I did the only logical thing... take matters into my own hands. I had no idea what I was doing at the time, but I listened and I learned. I couldn't afford the hourly rates at professional studios, I invested my time and the little money I had into making my own . A few months down the line of sleepless nights it all paid off.” says LB himself.
No stranger to the stage The Jack of All Trades has performed in memorable NYC attractions such as The Times Square Arts Center and even local colleges such as Pace University. He is one that can definitely move a crowd from his energetic openings down to his melonchonic closings which are sure to leave an impression on anyone despite their musical preference. Two songs off of his demo that set examples would be “One Up On You” and "What I've Built".
With his upcoming release “The Other Side” LB is focusing on guerrilla marketing to promote the project. He wants to bring the unconventional to hip hop and will do everything to get there.

One of the tracks that I can not get enough of is titled Dat Get’em Girl, a fun song about the beauty of the female and all she has to offer. But, if you are looking for other types of lyrical styles, then LB can deliver.
For this latest collection of new songs, I give LB’s project a smooth B+

Music Comments: LB bangs out high tech and an instrumental foundation on his cd. His conscious hip hop chops have sometimes deep and timely lyrics about keeping it real. The highlights on these streetwise tracks occurs when he gets into the musical quality of the melodies, with techno backbeats and deep vocals to back his message. Best tracks are the light, poppy “I Don’t Want to Cry” and the done-me-wrong song called “Love Was Something Good” – all about a broken heart. Both LB and his artist rep, will, over the following months, explore the most appropriate avenues for his music, including licensing for film and television, imaging, and ramping up his mp3 sales. We look forward to receiving more tunes where this came from!
