Tasha M. Brown “Unique Mother” was born in Brooklyn , New York and while growing up she was known for her creative abilities in creating community events for her peers. Unique Mother is currently residing in and representing Augusta, Georgia, to inspirer other young women and men about themselves and her title Unique Mother, a name that have been express out of the mouth of men and children and her Ancestors (Ancient Ancestress Mothers) of the Tribe of Tah (Tarites or Ptah) people, the first people who resided on the planet Earth as Tamareans or the well known name given Egyptians.
Tasha chose an attribute “Unique Mother “ to denote that through her artistic expression and unrivaled drive that she will restore the previous and forgotten condition of what she calls “ Tahites Records (Ra-cords)” when people hear “ Unique Mother “ heartfelt thoughts carried by speech in her tones and rhythms for inspiration (inner-spirit-radiation) to tell all people of the Planet Earth that we are all one “Body, Mind, Spirit, and Soul”. Unique Mother express her own words with a tap of special chants and sounds express right from her mouth in remembrance of In The Beginning Was The Word and The Word Was With God and also with the Open Mouth Ceremony performed in Ancient Egypt. This format touches the inner heart seats of each individual in the room and they began to open their hears and listen to “The Messenger” speak about Awaken into Spirituality of The Human Begin, Ancient Cultural Knowledge, Earth Environmental Crisis, Life Solutions, Teenage Obstacles, Importance of Education, and Love and Intimacy of Relationships. Unique Mother has setout a revolution vibration for our children to detour this epidemic outbreak of poor self reflection and mistreatment of others on the planet.
Unique Mother is known for her African spoken polyphonic flow and beats of hip-hop, African, and Acoustic sounds. A flow of legendary emcees such as Lauryn Hill, KRS One, Erykah Badu, Tracy Chapman, SaRa, Jill Scott, Canibus, Black Thought of The Roots, Sade, and mostly Ancient Ancestress Mothers from wade down in the waters of the Earth and also Unique Mother produced some tracks on her CD called, “ Angelic Voices of Old Souls “.
Unique Mother is no stranger to the stage and large venue performing. She has performed at Morris Museum for African American, Paine College for Nubian Reflections Poetry Nights, Café 209 Thursdays Night Open Mic, and Moorish Festival under The Nuwaudian Nation of Moors, Augusta State University Musical Concerts under Dr. John Bradley.
Unique Mother has done a great degree in promoting unity amongst men and women in relationships through her poetry about African Spirituality, local artists to fulfill their careers in music. She has single handedly sponsored musical concert for The Tree Of Life Church in Augusta , Georgia . It doesn’t stop there. Tasha, also compiles, produces, and distributes her Music in downtown Augusta , Georgia local stores.
Tasha “Unique Mother” has been implementing her craft as a spoken word artist since 1999, and is respectfully affiliated with Save Darfur and Youth Poverty Organizations. Doubtlessly a multifaceted, informed individual, community minded, and the inspiring visionary known as Unique Mother is destined to bring greatness to the soul of all people in entertainment which successively will reflect on both well beyond her lifetime.
