Artist Information

Biography

Brenda Rogers has experienced life from both worlds of the urban West Coast and the rural Canadian Prairies from where she currently hails from. She began her musical career at the tender age of 5 when her father received a guitar to payoff a $50 debt. Professional training included un-practiced guitar lessons for one year when she was nine, and a one-year music college program when she was twenty. Now, she is the guitar teacher in addition to performing and writing music. When asked about influences, she cites the MTV Unplugged concept and anyone who was ever a part of it. In a live setting, she has a knack for captivating any audience with her natural charm and wit. With her (optional) trademark table top "Music Menu" Brenda Rogers becomes a solo virtual jukebox as the crowd dictates the evening's play list.
