Biography
Our music comes from a variety of influences including The Rocket Summer, Jacks Mannequin and others. What sets us apart from a lot of local bands in the Central PA area is our style. We have influences from other bands but our sound remains fresh and unique. From our experience we find a lot of very conventional bands around the area, especially in the genres of Hardcore, or "Rock", so we try to sound a little different from what's being played in the area or on the radio, without losing the public's interest. Letters For Lovers has been around for approximately 2 years, with its origins in the summer of 2007, and has pretty consistently played shows around the PA area and sometimes even branching into surrounding states. We have played with nationally accredited acts including Reel Big Fish, The Morning Light, The Bigger Lights, Driving East, Roark, Rookie Of the Year, Safari So Good, and Rosematter.
