Biography
It's about time Adrienne Leasa put out her debut album. She's been writing songs since the age of 13 when her aunt lent her a nylon-string guitar. Some songs came easily, others came trickling in at various paces through her teen years and throughout her tumultous 20's through major depression, substance abuse, and horrificly doomed relationships. Adrienne has always been opinionated, and doesn't shy away from politics or religion on her debut album For God's Sake. The title itself is an exclamation that symbolizes the urgency she feels about a myriad of current events/issues. Now into her 30's this singer/songwriter decided in early 2008 to get down to business, the music business. After encouragement from producer Jason Rubal, owner of Seventh Wave Studios and some help from her mother she decided to produce her first album. She knew she wanted to include a smorgasbord of original songs woven from various periods in her life so far and fill in the gaps with the next 2 albums. Now having completed the album she is looking forward to throwing it out into the great abyss of the universe and seeing what bounces back her way as well as currently seeking collaborations for her second album.
