Biography

Kari Groff-Denis, MD is a NYC child psychiatrist dedicated to advocating for kids through musical performances and song-writing. She has played violin since the age of four and is fortunate to play with some of the very best musicians in the Americana music scene. She has roots in New England and Virignia and currently practices medicine in Park Slope, Brooklyn. Her upcoming children's album "Jumping Through Hoops; Tales of Bravery and Courage" will be released in Autumn, 2009. It is produced by Rounder Record artist Kristin Andreassen (Uncle Earl and Sometymes Why). Musical arrangements by Chris Eldridge (Punch Brothers) and David Moore (Bing and Ruth)
