Biography

Kali's has over ten years of experience performing on stage and has won numerous talent competitions. Kali has performed at hundreds of events including fairs, festivals, conventions and church programs. Kali has also opened for well known artists. Kali was named SingerUniverse "Best Vocalist of the Month Winner" for her performance of the song, "Through The Valley" off her most recent album, Brand New Day. Kali Rose was raised in a "musically diverse" home. Her father was a professional musician and played the accordian. Her mom yodeled and sang blue grass songs. While growing up, Kali studied voice, piano, ballet and tap. Her determination as an artist grew as she won numerous talent contests. Kali continues her career as a professional model which began when she was a teen.

Kali’s recent release, “Brand New Day”, features 12 original songs and was produced by Dove award winning artist Jeff Silvey at Safe Haven recording studio in Nashville , TN. All of the musicians involved have unbelievable backgrounds and credits to their name. This CD is undoubtedly country through and through, but Kali’s unique style shines in every lyric.

Kali's first CD, "Believe in Love", features country and gospel music. It was recorded and produced at Gaither Studios, owned by the Grammy award winning artists, Bill and Gloria Gaither. Kali's angelic voice shines throughout the album as she presents her own interpretation of powerful lyrics. The album includes original country music by Kali and other songwriters, as well as southern gospel favorites, all in a country format.

Kali's music has thrilled audiences time and again and has been embraced by audiences of all ages.

  Kali Rose, a talented country/gospel artist based in Plymouth, Indiana, has won the July SingerUnive...Kali Rose, a talented country/gospel artist based in Plymouth, Indiana, has won the July SingerUniverse “Best Vocalist Of The Month” Competition, for her performance of the new song, “Through The Valley” (written by Kelly Archer, Jeff Silvey & Jeramy Stover). This song is featured on her most recent album Brand New Day, which she released independently in January 2008.
  
  Kali Rose
  “Through The Valley” is a soulful, inspirational ballad which features a full arrangement, including strings. This song provides a fine showcase for Rose’s rich, expressive vocal performance. The song has a strong chorus, and Rose sings the title phrase and overall chorus with authority and emotion. “Through The Valley” was expertly produced by co-writer Jeff Silvey, who is a well-known, Dove Award-winning writer/artist based in Nashville. This song also features music tracks by prominent Nashville pros Mike Johnson (steel guitar & dobro), Gordon Mote (piano/keyboards), Troy Lancaster (electric guitar) and Chad Cromwell (drums).
  
  It was in 2007 that Rose hooked up with Jeff Silvey, and they began collaborating on her second album, Brand New Day. “I went to Nashville to record my album with Jeff at his studio,” recalled Rose. “Jeff was great to work with – he helped find the songs and brought in some top Nashville musicians to play on the album.”
  
  “I really like ‘Through The Valley’ – it’s a beautiful song which inspires people who are going through hard times,” she added.
  
  Since releasing Brand New Day in early 2008, Rose has continued to promote her album by steadily performing shows (solo, and with a band) at festivals, fairs and churches. She has opened for such artists as Neal McCoy and Ricochet. In addition, Rose is a successful model, who has done commercials, billboards and print work.
