Biography

The teen rock band Whiplash was formed in the fall of 2007 in Louisville, KY. They have wowed crowds with classic rock tunes such as “Heartbreaker” and “Midnight Rambler”. The band's music has been influenced by the Beatles to Led Zeppelin to Jimi Hendrix. Whiplash was honored to play at the Water Tower during the Great Steamboat Race in association with the KY Derby festivities.

In addition to the above, Whiplash has played the following venues:

• First Annual Fallen Service Members Benefit at Kingfish

• Mellwood Arts and Music Festival

• Rockin’ for Kids Benefit for Norton/Kosair Hospital at Slugger Field

• Best of Louisville Awards ceremony 2010, 2011

• Abbey Road on the River – World’s largest Beatles festival 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012

These boys are serious about their music and are fun to watch as they present rock ‘n roll from yesterday and today. Be careful that you don’t get "whiplash" from doing a double take on this band!
