Biography

Having done the rock and roll band "thing," I now choose to travel alone, playing both relatively small and intimate venues, in addition to larger bars, lounges all the way up to music festivals.

My music has many faces....rock...blues...country...folk...celtic...latin...
and speaks with many tongues about who I am, what I believe in, and what makes me laugh.

I've been influenced by artists like Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Bruce Cockburn, Eric Clapton, Tom Petty, Bonnie Raitt, and MANY of the independent artists that I have heard over the years. They inspire me and keep the songwriting candle burning.

What sets me apart from others I think is my ability to engage the audience. To me, it's all about the audience. If they're not having a good time, what's the point? Otherwise, I might as well just be home playing in my studio. They provide me with energy and a reason to perform. When I'm playing a gig, my purpose is to touch the audience in some way, to inspire them, to make them laugh, and to make them feel like they've had a great time!

Setlist

A typical set would be 10 songs...45 minutes or so in length, and a typical show would be 2 sets. I only do covers when I'm playing in bars or lounges and I have a wide range of material, probaly 150-200 songs...rock, classic rock, country, blues....artists like the Beatles, the Stones, Dire Straits, Clapton, Dylan, the Cars, Allan Jackson, Gerry & the Pacemakers, Tom Petty, George Strait, Hank Williams, Van Morrison, John Fogerty, Johnny Cash, and many others.
