The flip side of the 7” & download features a wonderfully dark and chaotic remix from Tronik Youth, fresh from recent projects with The Gossip, Late Of The Pier, New Young Pony Club and The Rake, amongst others.

‘All Night’ was recorded within stumbling distance of where it was written. Under the rumbling arches of Camden, squeezed between scenester mecca Hawley Arms, all lines and fringes and the electri rail track of the overground, which irradiated them and imparted a whistling howl through their amps which ensured that ‘All Night’ had to be written in the key of E.

Singer Dominic Otero spits lyrics like a man on fire, firing out songs of the city, songs of dancing through the early hours, songs of a frenzied man with too much to say and no time left to say it.

Drummer Alex Sabga has been killed at least 37 times and looks none the worse for it, his stints on ‘Band of Brothers’ and ‘Alexander’ provide many a tour bus yarn.

Multi-tasking, ambidextrous Gavin Bilbe handles guitars and keys, sometimes simultaneously; his brother Ben holds everything steady with heavy bass and wry smile.

  London's answer to The Killers? Well, Dega Breaks certainly have the capacity to go the distance with epic guitar, cosmic keys and a front man born with an anthem in his lungs.
  
  They're everything you could hope for in a band as scuzzy as the gutter, as epic as the stars.
  
  They ooze the sort of decadence paraded through London's three quid clubs at three am. Young, beautiful and alive for the hour.
  
  Debut single and our London Calling record of the week, Wake Up, has kept the band on their toes with touring, not to mention sheer excitement as they hold their first seven inch vinyl in the palm of their hands.
  
  With influences streaming from The Cure, Japan, Joy Division and Dexy's, Dega Breaks' subsequent cocktail of killer choruses and transcendental guitar solos looks set to project them far into the stadiums of tomorrow.
  
  As well as current tracks on release, the band are rumoured to favour Frankie Goes to Hollywood's Relax as a future cover possibility.
  
  Those mighty influences from the 1980's indie scene would certainly stand them in good stead.

With all the comparisons to Soft Cell and newer bands such as The Rakes and Good Shoes it's easy to see why.

  This four-piece have been on the London gig circuit for a couple of years and look ready to break on...This four-piece have been on the London gig circuit for a couple of years and look ready to break onto the scene in a big way with their killer combination of electro indie tunes and urban lyrics.
  
  The band originally from West London are made up of lead singer and guitarist Dominic Otero, guitar and synth player Gavin Bilbe, bassist Eann Bilbe and drummer Alex Sabga.
  
  Otero is a passionate front man spitting his lyrics with equal measures of energy and disdain and the band gels to form a wall of sound with distinct overtones of Depeche Mode and The Killers.
  
  There’s something dark and grubby about the songs that conjures up images of dark alleyways, crushed fags and spilt pints in dirty Camden pubs. The tunes have snatches of familiarity about them and are instantly accessible without being too commercial. An added edge of darkness is provided by the synth and bass riffs and the whole set-up has a grittiness which makes it stand out from the reams of indie bands trying to make their mark.
  
  The new single out on 31 March called 'All Night’ is a combination of frenetic riff`s, edgy synth and dark lyrics. 'Wake Up’ is also a great tune with its melancholy refrain that easily stands up to repeated listening.
  
  The only slight downside was the sound system which meant at times Otero’s vocals were not as clear as they might have been. Nonetheless, the crowd was undaunted and gave them a resoundingly positive reception. Ones to watch.
