Biography

Grace Over Diamonds is a band from Ottawa Ontario. The band finished recording their debut album releasing the album October 17th 2008. Since the release of the album it was picked up by HMV Canada in every store across Canada ,the band has toured Ontario and Quebec and has sold out many venues ,building there fan base it has grown to over 45 thousand on there myspace world wide .
Grace Over Diamonds also has had there song Broken on the Virgin radio across Canada and has been in the top ten in Ottawa ,with all they have done in the past year they are back in the studios this spring with the follow up CD to there debut ,with the word out on Grace Over Diamonds they have Garth Richardson producing there next album Garth is one of the top producers in the industry (Rage Against The Machine,The Red Hot Chilli Peppers.)having Garth on board for there next album the future is very bright for Grace Over Diamonds ,

  Ottawa alternative radio rock came to life at Zaphods on March 8th with Ottawa sensation Grace Over Diamonds and other radio sweethearts, Benefit Of A Doubt. The crowd was an odd bunch, split between a significantly aged crowd and a much younger one, however, by the time the show was going, everyone was having a good time.
  
  Opening up the night was The Red Jets, a very young three-piece band that, while lacking the stage presence of some acts, made up for it in extremely well played songs. Throwing in a few covers throughout their set, they still managed to keep things tight and showed promise for what a bit more experience could do for them. They wrapped up their set fairly quickly and soon it was time for the next band.
  
  Benefit Of A Doubt has been on a roll lately after winning the Big Money Shot contest in Ottawa; they also just recently returned from recording an album in Texas. The effect this has had on them is profound - while they were good before they are a force now. The foursome has taken their talent and expanded upon it, with a fantastic stage presence and songs filled with catchy hooks that had everyone who knew the words singing along. They played a lengthy set and wrapped it up, leaving the crowd warmed up and ready for what they came to see.
  
  The final band of the night was local group Grace Over Diamonds, who have spent the last few months blowing up. By the look of it, this is going to be the last time they play Zaphods for a long time. Their music, practically designed for big venues
  these guys have
  radio play alongside the likes of Finger 11 and Theory of a Deadman, was made for singing along too. Aided by a slightly ridiculous amount of vocal echo, when addressing the crowd, the lead singer Nate did his best to keep the crowd engaged. The band played extremely well together, especially considering they were welcoming their new bassist into the band with the show. This is a band that will inevitably end up playing stadiums and they're just biding their time now.i am looking forward to seeing these guys rise to the top
