Biography
Tyrone Payne is an original singer/songwriter exploring contemporary soul and R&B. A prolific artist he is currently working on a 12 volume album set - After The Party - Volume 1 and 2 of which, will be released in March of 2009 independently. Tyrone began singing in church, following in the African American gospel tradition, and later was classically trained in voice throughout his adolescence and college. He began playing in bands at the age of 16 and has graced concert venues and festivals throughout the midwest as a lead singer/frontman for funk and soul bands. Currently Tyrone lives in California and performs with The Original DUYUVUDU Band. With the release of his debut solo album - After The Party Volume 1 and 2, he is set to begin touring nationally and internationally in support of the album, alongside performing with the DUYUVUDU band beginning in the Spring of 2009
