  The power of the TRIO is found with the three members of The Intangibles. Each member works well with the other to create some of the most original music currently out.   Isaac: How do you sum up 2008 for The Intangibles?
  
  The Intangibles: Productive. Creative.
  
  We've played songs with beginnings, middles, and endings... sometimes more than one. And playing monthly shows in Manhattan that has really helped to tighten up our sound.
  
  Isaac: Let's talk about the concept behind The Intangibles.
  
  The Intangibles: Symphonic psychedelic raga dinner music for forest Fauna to graze to. An alternate reality of prog-o-delic melodies with psychedelic orchestral bombast, combines with blues guitar DNA and arena rock syncopation...but with a sensitive side.
  
  There's something magic about the "less is more" of a three piece group. Three musicians can be very tight and everyone pulls their weight. You can't be a slacker in a power trio. And live it's easy to get spontaneous. The dynamic interplay of Vocal, guitar, bass, and drums. We let it drop down to drums ..vocal....add bass...then build it up a to a full on rockestra wall of vocal raga bass guitar synthesizer and drums.
  
  Isaac: What do you feel was your biggest accomplishment for 2008?
  
  The Intangibles: Getting our guitarist Drew to each gig with functioning equipment and making sure he's drunk and angry before we get on stage and play. That technique doesn't work when recording tracks though. We also evolved our live arrangements and dynamics and that's helped our recording. Oh, and we finally have cool tees and stuff for our friends and fans.
  
  Isaac: Elaborate a little about whom were your biggest influences in the music industry and why?
  
  The Intangibles: Far too many to mention, but they would include the Police and Rush. Why those 2? Power trios. And they kick ass live. And we always perform a few favorite classic covers our way, ...Beatles, Pink Floyd, Zeppelin, Who, Simon & Garfunkle.
  
  Isaac: Let's talk about what you feel you will bring to the music industry?
  
  The Intangibles: We play what we like and like what we play. So we don't concern ourselves with the "industry".
  
  Our fans seem to like what we play, and that makes our shows feel like a party.
  
  Isaac: If you had an opportunity to work with one artist or group, who would it be and why?
  
  The Intangibles: Elvis, of course. Is any explanation why really necessary?
  
  Isaac: How would you describe your music to others?
  
  The Intangibles: Prog-a-delic ... progressive rock with a psychedelic attitude. Hey we just made that up!
  
  Isaac: What is your definition for Rock Music?
  
  The Intangibles: Ego fueled energy with attitude. Doesn't matter if you play a kazoo or a Guitar.
  
  Isaac: What has been the inspiration behind your first album FAUNA?
  
  The Intangibles: All the compositions are about real events and people. Then subliminally abstracted into songs. And we wanted a variety of acoustic/hard rockin/spacey/and instrumental textures.

Setlist

We change our set list about 30 seconds before we go on. Usually starting soft and acoustic then loud n heavy. 60 minutes of our groovy psych-O-delic rock ...and we can do another 60 minutes of interesting covers our way...from Simon&Garfunkle to Pink Floyd to a Rush-LedZep MASHUP, to The Beatles. No Emo.
