Biography
After many years of playing music in local so cal bands, Wyly has finally emerged with a very new and prideful sound. Christopher Caplan (aka Crumb) has been playing and performing music since the age of 11. Songwriting is his passion and his job. He is often involved with songwriting for commercials and movies. Wyly's genre is almost impossible to label due to how diverse the songs are. Being influenced heavily by modern rock artists such as Radiohead, White Stripes, Muse, and many others with the classics like the Beatles and the Kinks, as well as the combined love of the jazz great Django Reinhart, Wyly's sound is truly unique and memorable.
At the start of 2009, Chris found three extremely talented musicians who shared his dream and sound intonation. Mic Dangerously really spiced up the sound by adding his bad ass guitar skills. He was musically trained at the Berklee School of music and musicians institute in Los Angeles. He is also the leader of the popular Long Beach Band, Zen Robbi. Brian Cook moved from Ohio to LA to join the music circuit. His bass skills and knowledge of theory are borderline intimidating. Mike Wawro has often been compared to Led Zeppelin’s drummer John Bonham due his hard hitting style and creative fills.
