Progressive metal influenced by Tool, Metallica, Lamb of God, and other similar bands. We are all 16 or 17 years old. We write all our own music. We have played at Toad's Place, the Webster Underground, Epoch Arts "Brookside Nights", area fairs, and some contests. We are a great live band.

Biography

Hostile Takover began as Twisted Union in 2007. Our first gig was our school auditorium at a school assembly. Right now, we're all 16 or 17 years old. We all attend the same high school. All we play is original music. We are influenced a lot by Metallica, Tool, Rage, Lamb of God, Iron Maiden, and Pantera, among other bands. We like to find ways to incorporate the talents of everyone in the group. We fight all the time in practice, but out of those fights comes some great things. What sets us apart from other bands is our talents for playing and writing music. We think we are technically so much better than other bands with players our age. We jam a lot, and from those sessions we find elements for our songs. We don't just jam, however, we plan and practice. We really listen and study music. We are a great stage band with a lot of energy and interaction with our audiences.
