Deep Grooves Meet Honest Lyrics
One Fine Day is Anderson's fourth and richest work so far. From the depths of the human experience - to the heights of ecstasy - Lynn’s deep, rich, painfully sultry voice blankets the listener in an aural embrace. Her vocals have reached a depth previously unheard. Moreover, Lynn's stunning vocal performances are enhanced and enriched by her musical arrangements. One Fine Day is a very personal and inspiring journey which universally unites Anderson with her audience.
Luckily for her fans, Anderson's personal transformation seems to have deepened her spirit, along with her vocal, musical and lyrical talent. It is not often that an artist allows her admirers such access... but listening to One Fine Day, one gets the feeling that they are integral to the existence of her music.
Anderson has long been acclaimed for her rich and powerful vocals. Her songwriting has gone deeper and become even stronger with One Fine Day. Her personal journey through “the eye of the needle” brings her audience closer to her heart with legendary violinist, Scarlet Rivera weaving a soulful cry through Band of Angels.
The first single is Stranger, a Rolling Stones-esc pop song that rolls through sensual overtones, hand claps and hope. Intense stripped down ballads showcase Anderson's vocal solidity. (Let Me Be Your Winter, What About My Heart?) Sexy roots-rock songs offer fans the passionate sound they experience live in Anderson’s fiery stage performances. (Closer, I’m Not Gonna Beg) Anderson’s sex-tension grabbing rootsy R&B tune (Love Voodoo) features BB King’s drummer, Tony Coleman, and co-writer and backing vocalist, Holly Leer.
From the torturous truth revealed in the title track, One Fine Day, outlined by Jennifer Batten’s roaring guitars, to the solemnity and transformation confessed in Let Me Be Your Winter, Lynn consistently reaches deep within to pull blossoms from the mud.
One Fine Day contains 13 skillfully crafted originals and one bonus track, Come to Me, which is ONLY available with the purchase of the physical CD. Come to Me is not downloadable. Come to Me is sparse, haunting and breathtakingly beautiful.
Fans have come to enjoy Anderson’s knack for gathering A-list players for her recordings and live shows.
