Biography

Emerging from the block parties of Gilroy, Galvanized Minds has attracted a following through its compilation of genres. Influenced by bands such as Sublime, The Doors, and Green Day, Galvanized Minds blends hip-hop, rock, jazz & rap creating its unique sound. With beginnings at "The BeeHive" and "Happy Dog", Galvanized Minds blew up the hip-hop & rock scene with its striking lyrics and provocative melodies. This lead to recent performances at West Hollywood's "The Rainbow", "The Pig'N Whistle", and now the world famous "Whisky a Go Go".

I find this song so very poetically insightful, positive and ethereal. This is one of those rare songs that I could listen to over and over without ever losing interest or the emotional high that it gives me. It moves my soul, it touches my heart. The background vocals give this artist a sweet sprinkly topping over every track. The tone and ambiance created is luminous and smoothly satisfying with a professional air and a polished presence. This artist has a knack for bringing rap and orchestration together in a perfectly harmonious marriage. Instrumentation, vocals and lyrics are attractively packaged in an emotionally charged rhythmic wave of sound. This could be said for their other posted tracks also, such as, "All in All". This is another one that has that special flavor with some delightful string melodies attached as a bonus. Another effective example of the way they have honed eclectic combinations of genres. They have superb talent in this area showing great creativity and diversity. The songs begin with one idea and move quickly into something you didn't expect to hear. Although many people try this, Galvanized Minds has this art mastered. I am very impressed with their music and listening for more is at the top of my "to do" list. Very well done!"
