NIKKI MCKNIGHT AKA NIX

Nikki, bred from Columbus Georgia, is sweeter than a peach on the mic. Voice, like a bass guitar- deep, melodic and fiery; she brings flawless verses to everything she releases from her lips. Her lyrical thought process flows across the bassline intricately as fingertips to guitar strings. As a producer, she drops beats so hard, heads bounce to the heartbeat of her music. With her confidence and achievements, she is the epitome of hip hop; becoming the hottest female rapper in The Dirty. She is both poet and emcee. She is both motivator and survivor. In 2011, she was wheelchair bound and injured from a car accident. With support from her 3riple 2ouble Entertainment family, she pushed previously recorded tracks landing her an award in the Best Cover Story category of The Real Scene Tri-City Hip Hop Awards (2012). Here, Nikki was also nominated Best Female Artist, in addition to, Best Video AND Best Female for her single "Sky's The Limit." This artist did not stop there. She continued to leave her mark in the music industry turning 2012 into a year of success. Nikki received nominations in Underground Music Awards (2012) Most Original Female Artist and Xtreme 104FM All Star Awards (2012) Best New Artist. She was later featured in Hip Hop Weekly Magazine October 2012 Issue 19 for the "Indie Grind Spotlight." She also earned a Featured Interview in Beats And Lyrics Magazine 2012 Issue 14. Motivation is an understatement for this pioneer of modern hip hop. It’s no wonder Nikki titles her latest single from her project, "Motivation (Unstoppable)," available on iTunes. She is from a new breed of artists. "I survived a very tragic situation that could have had a devastating outcome. I feel that my life was spared for a reason. And I feel Unstoppable." Nikki - is the new landmark for Hip Hop…grounded in her drive.
