"This is the music they listen to on the moon. It is cosmic balladry. His dramatic vocals and haunting piano sound like they come from an alien radio station."

Felix and the Future is “is beaming from the cosmos,” says eastvillageboys.com.
Felix is a solo artist from Brooklyn, New York, but he sublets a one-bedroom apartment on Neptune.
His music, consisting of piano-based pop music, self-described as Cosmic Balladry, launches from Earth and travels light years away.
He was born of Mexican and German-Irish decent. His Mexican roots were woven with witches, phantoms, and flying nuns amidst a family of supernatural storytellers.

Felix spent his teenage years developing his poetry, studying acting, and studying ballet and modern dance. He then fled to New York to pursue studies in acting, and quickly found a calling towards the piano. Determined to be a self-taught pianist, he sold his computer and bought a digital piano. Eventually, Felix combined his love for all four arts to create the musical persona: Felix and the Future.

He has finished two high concept music videos, entirely self-produced. His first EP will be released in April 2011. His first video “Steady Hum Drum” takes place on the moon. RetailDj.com describes it as “one of the most visually exciting videos I have seen in a while.”

EQMUSICBLOG.COM premiered his second music video “Apollonia” and writes : Felix “is like a new Patrick Wolf if you ask me and I do have my eyes firmly locked on him - so should you.”
