A lyrically driven, hard hitting, loud-ass throwback to the wilder, crazier days of rock n roll.

SHATTER has played over 350 shows since Leap Day 2008. They've shared the stage with or opened up for such notable National Acts as Megadeth (twice), Shinedown, 3 Doors Down, Skid Row (twice), Tesla, Queensryche, My Darkest Days, Lacuna Coil, Slaughter, Against Me!, Bang Tango (x3), Smile Empty Soul (x2), Hurt, New Medicine, Deuce, Future Leaders of the World, Lynam, Wildstreet, Theory of a Deadman, Art of Dying, Adelitas Way, Pop Evil, The Last Vegas, FLAW, Texas Hippie Coalition, The Veer Union, Blue Felix, Zoso, Machinehead, Suicide Silence, Psychostick, Edisun, Earshot, Dirty Little Rabbits, Wildstreet, Destrophy, and numerous others.

A Final Four finalist at the Lazerfest 2012 Contest, Fourth Place finish at the 2010 Midwest Battle of the Bands (over 200 contestants - 1st place in Des Moines and Iowa category). Top finishes in many other local Battle of the Bands.

SHATTER currently has strong fanbases in Central Iowa, Southeastern Iowa, Milwaukee, Chicago.

SHATTER puts on an energetic, emotional, unpredictable, and unforgettable show. Their punk rock attitude mixed with thunderous drums, shredding bluesy guitars, and soulful vocals have built a devoted and maniacal fan base throughout the Midwest and all over the internet.

Band recorded their demo album, “Timeless” in February/March 2010. Album recorded, produced, and mixed by Brian Wheat (bassist/manager for legendary rock band, TESLA) at J Street Recorders in Sacramento, California. Album was released June 2010. Band has filmed several music videos and been played on radio stations across the Midwest and all over the internet.

The attributes their influences to Motley Crue, Alice Cooper, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Metallica, Shinedown, Suicidal Tendencies, Megadeth, Widespread Panic, Bon Jovi, Blue Oyster Cult, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pantera, ZZ Top, Jackyl in their live shows.

Band can play anywhere from 30 minute original gigs to 5 hour house band gigs. Band has enough material to play two separate shows back to back. They have nearly 90 minutes of original material and can play over 8 hours of covers.

SHATTER has a full P.A. System with dbx loudspeaker system with dbx EQs and Compressors. 32 Channel Yamaha Mixer Board. 2 Harbinger dual 15” Mains. 2 Harbinger 18” subs, 2 Peavey dual 15” high/mid range speaker cabs, 2 Fender and 4 Peavey monitors. Crown, QSC, and Behringer Power Amps. Full DMX lighting rig with stands. Band can supply soundman and light-person.
