Biography

Carol Clayton has been playing piano since the age of five and has been creating songs for worship nearly as long. She's a classically trained pianist who makes a living by teaching piano and she regularly leads worship at Genesis: The Church in Royal Oak, Michigan.

Carol Clayton's music is both reflective and challenging, with lyrics that seek to move listeners from a place of apathy into a place of action. Poetic lyrics and rich harmonies fuse to make driving rock songs with sweet pop sensibilities. These songs are rich in Biblical truth and emotional transparency Engaging. Honest. Passionate.
