Biography
The College Game Show is an interactive trivia show that you can run on your own. With the aid of the latest in audience response technology and our one of a kind software all you need is someone to hand out the controllers and hit go. The 50-55 minute show runs itself. We provide you with the game unit and all the controllers. All that you need to supply is a projector, screen, and audio; A basic Power Point set up.
Teams play from their seat in the audience with the use of a state of the art wireless keypad. As multiple choice questions appear on the screen teams ring in with the answers they think are correct. Each question starts a specific point value but as the time ticks away so do the amount of points. The faster that the teams ring in the more points they will receive. Along the way Wager screens will appear that will allow the teams to wager a percentage of their points on the next question. Each wager screen will also include a wager topic that will give teams an idea of what the next question will be about. The team with the most points at the end of the game will be declared the winner.
Each game unit will come equipped with multiple games on them allowing you to turn it into a semester long tournament and several stand alone games. In tournament style scores can be kept over the course of the semester. This allows you to do it as a weekly game and teams can earn points all the way till the end of the semester and declare a big winner for the grand prize.
Each game has to be accessed by a key code that we will provide to you the week of your event. The key code will allow you to access the game for 72 hours. This will allow you time if needed to test the set up and make sure everything is working. Each system will also be able to be hooked up to the internet to update games and post teams score online. Each team will be able to input a custom team name that can be theirs for the game.
Versions of the game will include Alcohol Awareness, Black History Month, Women’s History Month, The 80’s, The 90’s, Reality TV, and several version of Popular Culture that will include topics from Sports to General Knowledge to Music to so much more.
