Birthed with the blood of Guyana embedded deep within his roots, and bred by the streets of Brooklyn, it’s only natural that Hip Hop Billboard Reggae artist G Tee Shotta’s music is spirited, infectious, and full of life. His nearly 15 years of entertainment industry experience makes him a burgeoning force in reggae, hip, urban and mainstream genres. This former Wu Tang Clan/Protect Ya Neck member paved his own road to success and has performed alongside international reggae artists like Buju Banton, Shabba Ranks, Screechy Dan, and Bounty Killa. The time is ripe for a reggae artist who will inject listeners with a dose of original lyrics, catchy melodies, and club bangin production.
On January 1, 2011, Shotta’s first single, “Name Brand” made history by entering Billboard Magazine’s Top Twenty 100 Hot Singles Sales chart. “Name Brand” ranked #17 on the charts.
Not only a reggae artist, G Tee Shotta is also an actor. He has enjoyed roles in the HBO hit series “OZ”, and the highly acclaimed “The Siege”, starring Denzel Washington. Influenced by his cultural background, and corroborated by his universal sound, Shotta is a true artist. Personally, Shotta has collaborated with the Grammy Award Winning soul singing group, the Delfonics, who produced several tracks (“Love me G Tee” & “Girl You Know, Part 2”) from G Tee Shotta’s forthcoming 2011 Album, “G Tee Shotta” Self Title.
 
 
After inhaling one breath of reggae’s best kept secret in hip hop, Shotta will lift you higher and higher through mid-elevating music; spat for the masses all around the world.   G TEE SHOTTA will be given the key to the city of Middletown, Ohio on Sat. Aug.15, 2009. G Tee Shotta is a Reggae artist signed to the Wu-Tang label; Protect Ya Neck Records. The key will be given by Anita Scott Jones (President of the NAACP Ohio chapter) and Lawrence P. Mulligan (Mayor of Middletown, Ohio). G Tee Shotta has performed many times and participated in many community activities in the state of Ohio. Middletown is where he was invited to participate in a NAACP celebrity basketball game last summer. G Tee Shotta considers his fans in Middletown as family. They have always welcomed him with opened arms. G tee Shotta loves working with and mentoring the kids; and the kids love him. G Tee Shotta’s high energy performances and down to earth, charismatic personality brings out the kid in the adults as well. There are many artists that have not yet achieved this goal and when Shotta was asked how he feels about this achievement, Shotta replied: “The most exciting thing about getting the key to the city is that every August 15 from this date forward, even when I have moved on to another life, it will be “G Tee Shotta Day.
