Biography

Lewis embodies the youthful vigor that is one of Rock and Roll’s most iconic and enduring charms, and his blend of effortless guitar playing, impressive vocals and solid songwriting is earning the acclaim of music fans with an appetite for talent, passion and charisma.

Lewis’ debut album, Extended Play was recorded with nationally acclaimed Nashville/LA/New York producer Fred Mollin (B.B. King, Miley Cyrus, Tom
Cochrane, Jimmy Webb) at The Tracking Room in Nashville in spring 2010. It features five original tracks that evince both Southern Rock and Country influences fused with Pop/Rock sensibilities.

At just 20 years old, Lewis is making himself heard throughout the Toronto and Nashville music scenes. He has won best rock artist and best rock song at the (4th annual) 2010 Toronto Exclusive Magazine Music Awards. Lewis has played to thousands of people in a wide variety of venues ranging from bars to banquet halls, from private functions, charities and fundraisers to Toronto’s legendary Yonge-Dundas Square.

In addition to regularly getting hired as a session guitarist for both live performances and studio recordings, Lewis has made such an impression with his musicianship and energetic Rock and Roll stage presence that he attracted sponsors Roots, Icerok and Gibson.

Lewis Moorman is in this for the long haul, and by listening to Extended Play, it sounds like he is certainly on the right track.
