Biography

The Rochester, NY music scene is loaded with players. The Meta Accord met while trying to get their foot in the door of the local scene. Before there was a rehearsal, guitarist/leader Jeremy Laursen booked some gigs. The band showed up and stepped up. That was 3 years ago.

Currently the band is making a name for itself with its original style of jamband jazz. A typical live performance will feature everything from beautiful ambience, upbeat danceable grooves to high energy jams.

Their instrumental compositions are chock full of energy and the band exhibits a knack for finding seriously danceable grooves within its free-flowing, improvisational platform.
