Artist Information

Biography

Mark’s emotionally resonant voice and impassioned guitar playing can fill a room with music in a way that no other solo artist can. Both originals and eclectic covers are delivered in his signature impassioned style, lending to a listening experience that’s provocative, listenable, and unique. Mark has the skills to perform a foot-shuffling alt.country number right after a well-known pop tune and inspiring fans of either genre to suddenly appreciate the other.

Mark’s youthful appearance belies his extensive experience. Performing for more than 25 years, Mark played the New York/New Jersey club scene both as a solo performer, and as a member of Your Name Here, the Nancy O band, The Groovy Coconut Band, and several others. Headliners Your Name Here released four self-produced albums of pop/rock from the late 80s through the mid 90s, which Mark engineered and produced in addition to writing and performing. Your Name Here enjoyed some regional airplay in 1995.

Mark moved from New York to Florida in 2003. He’s spent the past 10 years as a solo acoustic singer/songwriter who has periodically lent his talents to the electric/acoustic band and duo Another Roadside Attraction. Mark is currently working on material for a soon-to-be released CD.
