Biography

Decades lost chooses to play from the heart rather than follow the crowd of musical mainstream. Formed in the Summer of 2008 by JT and Mazz , Mark first auditioned as a guitar player .Jt and Mark tried to make the guitar’s work but their styles are completely different and hence JT coined the phrase Decades Lost. Mark became the Bassist in November and Var Came on Board in December of 2008. Songwriting from the heart. It all starts with JT’s Riff. The rest of the band will sit and listen, Mazz will figure out the drum beats always focusing on rhythm. After the drums and guitar are in synch mark will lock into the rhythm. Then Var writes some Lyrics. It’s that simple. No one tells anyone what to do. Everyone gets to play how they feel. The styles and influence of this band are all across the spectrum. What emerges from the bowels of JT’s Basement is something cool, something different, and nothing like the rest. The Live Performance is 100% in your face entertainment. The band individually and as a group works the crowd and plays to the crowd. This is the type of band that can become a mega band. The songs have staying power.
