"Theater Review; The Songs Of Four Women"

By RICHARD F. SHEPARD

Jaince M. Singleton portrays a 40-year-old that conveys the air of an efficient woman who has come to realize that there is more to life than putting feet on the corporate ladder. She gives a poignant edge to her solo, ''Ignite My Love.''

Bio

JANICE MARIE SINGLETON
Actor, Author, Singer / Songwriter, Motivational Speaker

Singing is probably inevitable when you have a Baptist Minister Dad and Gospel Pianist Mom. As a member of the Cuyahoga Community College Theater Company, a friend wrote a play that inspired me to write music. Fortunately, he and the Director loved it. The show went off without a hitch, and the angels have been singing in my head ever since.

Songwriters that have touched my heart most are Ashford and Simpson, and Alan and Marilyn Bergman. Their music and lyrics speaks to my heart.

Have personally given birth to 100-Songs, in a variety of styles; Classical, Country, Gospel, Jazz, Pop, and Rhythm & Blues, and collaborated with numerous others as well.

As founder and featured performer of NUVISION, a motivational show for children, 4-peers and I toured New York City schools with a musical message of love and respect -- for self, all others, and the environment. Even though we only received letters from 7-thousand audience members, the 90-thousand that experienced the program were obviously encouraged to help make our planet a better to live. For that reason, I choose to go on creating motivational songs for people that listen with their hearts.
