Biography

Mark Pires is a singer, songwriter, and guitarist with over eighty original songs to his credit. He has gained acclaim through his original style, and contagious energy. Mark has achieved the following accolades, His song "mandolin jam" was featured on “The Simple Life 2” and MTV's “Road Rules.” Mark's song "Different" was featured on Episode 26 of “The Real World Denver”.
Mark's song "Something to Live For" the title track off his new album was just featured on Episode 17 of “The Real World Sydney.” Then a few months back "Let's Start Slow" was featured with screen credit for a full scene on The Real World Hollywood. His song "I'm Gone" was also chosen by VH1 as a finalist for Song of the Year. His new solo album, Mark Pires "Something to Live For" has just been released and his two disc acoustic album is in post-production. Mark Pires did all of the former and now he's on to the latter, deciding to add magic and comedy to his live act, presumably giving his performances a homespun variety show vibe. Setlist

Working the crowd with originals. covers occasionally bring the crowd into what they know, an energetic performance to the crowd. Some Ray Charles, Johnny Cash, Mraz etc. Trio sound is intimate but very powerful. The ability to sound like the album is what we go for. Also, a variety vibe from time to time with Dead on celebrity impressions and more.
Definitely a one of a kind show.
