Slowburn is an original rock band from Philadelphia, PA that is deeply rooted in the blues. With powerful guitar riffs and soulful solos Slowburn has quickly gained attention of music fans in the Philadelphia metro area. Driving rhythms are another signature of this bands edgy orgy of blues, soul and rock and roll. Slowburn is now reaching out and expanding its base to include the entire northeastern USA. We know no limits.
Slowburn has a core of solid, professional musicians who accept their responsibility to the music willingly and still wear the badge of sleazy blues rock band with honor. If you’re looking for a professional, hard working band to deliver a great rock n’ roll performance and leave an impression on everyone who sees them, then we are your band.
Slowburn is the combination of all its members’ experiences and influences. Each member brings to the band a deep love for music and respect for those bands that have influenced us in such profound ways. Slowburn’s music is a result of those many great artists that have occupied our music collections. We are a product of the music of Led Zeppelin, Jimmy Hendrix, Rolling Stones, Aerosmith and so many others. Slowburn pulls those influences together in a similar fashion to our Philadelphia brethren and blues rock heroes Cinderella. It’s an edgy rock n’ roll package that celebrates the guitar as a creator of emotion and drums that are a thunderous inducement to become a Slowburn junkie.
