My music is Holy Hip-Hop/Hip-Hop. I'm influenced by gospel, hip-hop, and r&b music. I'm a fan of many artists from Mary Mary to Nas to Lecrae. I think hip-hop needs more positive messages. I heard it said: "If you're not a part of the solution, then, you're a part of the problem." I believe that you can reach more people when you share your testimony. Let people know what mess God delivered you out of, because someone in that same situation might see God bringing you out as hope for them to make it out.
I've been writing, recording, and performing off and on for over 20 years.I started out with a group (Def Duo) in 1985. I was with them until 1989, and I've been a soloist since then. I finished up my album (A New Beginning), and it's currently available at most on-line retailers. The lyrics are telling and encouraging. The beats are hard-core, old-school, and R&B.
I work for the state of NY. I have an associates degree in business administration from Monroe College. I'm a member of Faith In God Church Inc. in the Bronx, where I've been ordained as an Evangelist/Pastor. I also frequently attend World Changers Church-NY in the Bronx.
