With Hip-Hop still as strong as ever, there are not too many artists that stand out in the crowd. Ho...With Hip-Hop still as strong as ever, there are not too many artists that stand out in the crowd. However, one of mention is an artist by the name of Saint. This young man of 23 has amassed fans in not only his hometown of Denver, Colorado, but also has seized a substantial following in and around Phoenix, Arizona. The boyz are down with him, and the gals swoon over him. If looks have anything to do with talent, then he’s got it all, hands down.
Coming from a musical family and following in his dad’s footsteps (a producer with Dankside Entertainment), Saint has combined the beats of Hip-Hop with the soul of R&B to create a flavorful blend of sublime, mellowed out by his low, engaging tone. This is not your run-of-the-mill Hip-Hop; Saint writes from life experience and tells it like it is. He says, “Music is my passion, and I want to reach out to touch my audience.” With Tupac and Master P. as influences in the music world, he has aimed high. He’s not willing to settle, and works hard to create the kind of music that stands out.
This young man has emerged in the Denver music scene, but is definitely on the move. He has an ever-changing “crew” of those that want to perform with him, as he always draws large crowds of young and old, alike. No attitude here—just plain old talent oozing from his pores. He’s the kind of guy you can sit down and talk to, but when he gets on stage just watch out! You can catch his flow quite regularly at Club Deep in Denver, and at other establishments around town, as well. But don’t wait too long, as he’s getting ready to drop his first release in late summer 2009, Life of Sin, and will be taking his show on the road.
