Artist Information

Biography

The Organ Beats was formed by Noelle LeBlanc formerly of international touring rock band Damone.

Since she was 13 she wrote and recorded songs on her 4-track. On Damone's time off from the road she put together a DIY/hand pressed album which she gave out to friends and supporters. The songs were low-budget and non-chalant. They were stories of suburban teen woes that used Casio keyboards and broken xylophones to express the simplicity of childhood and growing pains.

Damone was dropped by their second major label and they went their separate ways. Noelle took this as an opportunity to seek out a more peaceful lifestyle. She moved to the country and wrote another album. When she returned after a soul cleansing journey she and her brother Danny hit the studio immediately.

The Organ Beats' 9 track album 'Sleep When We Are Dead' was recorded in the summer 2009 in a small studio outside of Houston TX over the course of 3 weeks (Mixed by David Spreng). The songs convey strength and determination. They are heartfelt pop jams with colorful imagery and a keen sense of wonder. The drums are a solid platform laid out to support crunchy guitars, singing solos, catchy melodies and a voice that belts out epic choruses.

They are currently working on an EP in their home studios.
