Biography

As a R&B/Pop/Hip-Hop Fusion singer, songwriter and producer seeking emergence into the major music industry, Karron understands the importance of hard work and dedication. From voice lessons, to talent showcases and competitions, and music conferences, he is willing to do anything he can to learn and grow in the music industry. His passion is music and as a result, he is very motivated and determined to expose himself and make the most of his lyrical and vocal talent. With every lyric he pens and every note he sings, his drive and devotion exemplifies his dedication to succeed in the music business and in life.

He’s no stranger to a stage and has performed at more than 100 venues on the East Coast including many festivals, fairs and fundraisers. With demonstrated confidence and versatility on stage, he connects with audiences of all ages and genders. His stage presence is gravitating and he commands your attention during his high-spirited, unforgettable performance. He is naturally talented and has a mainstream R&B/Pop appeal that everyone adores.

As a Singer, the superior vocals of the coltish crooner's tenured voice are a breath of fresh air to the music industry.

As a Songwriter, the tasteful and well chosen content of his original works has commercial appeal that tells stories with catchy hooks.

He was nominated Best Maryland Male R&B Artist at the 2011 DMV Awards alongside Raheem DeVaughn and CJ Hilton, and recently landed placement of his hit single "I Just Got Robbed" in the independently released movie "Hip Hop in The Ville" directed by Wesley Mitchell III.   For the 24th year, Alexandria’s Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities and the African Heritage and Cultural Festival Committee cosponsored the annual festival at Market Square Saturday, July 21. Hundreds mingled around the square and fountain to enjoy traditional African-American dancers, instrumentalists, soloists and performing arts groups. Arts and crafts, paintings and cultural foods were available for the festival-goers throughout the afternoon.

  Karron Johnson-To me Karron Johnson is everything that the R&B world is missing which is a phenomena...Karron Johnson-To me Karron Johnson is everything that the R&B world is missing which is a phenomenal natural singer where no auto tune or vocal alignment is needed to hide the fact that he can’t sing, as well as the fact that his vocal ability is his gimmick instead of electrifying dance acrobatics and a nearly nude display in personal wardrobe. One thing that stood out to me overall was when I looked around the room I noticed that a previously noisy room where everyone was involved in their own personal conversations was automatically quiet the minute he opened his mouth to sing. Even the “thugs” were listening closely and I swear that one of them was damn near reduced to tears. I urge everyone who reads this to do their research to find Karron Johnson and remember this name. Something inside of me tells me that Baltimore has a gem in this guy and soon the entire world will come to know him and embrace him as well.

Unless a band is required, all songs are performed using tracks.
