Artist Information

Biography

For those craving extra thump and crunch with their pop, TIGHT WHITE JEANS offers up a hearty nod to the pummeling, garage-y sounds of the past while setting its sights firmly on the road ahead.

Hatched in 2007 by Jeff "JD" Wood (expat of the Seattle 90s madness) and drummer David "Eggs" Friel, TWJ began as a bass&drums duo, experimented as a trio (releasing an EP in 2009 and recording a full-length) but ultimately returned to its 2-piece roots in 2010 with Wood jumping over to a bass-heavy guitar setup and a solid rotation of guests bending harps, blowing horns and pounding basses as the mood demands.

New tracks recorded with Kenny Lienhardt (chief FOH engineer at NYC's fabled Bowery Ballroom) are currently underway and several are already in rotation on Jango.com internet radio and podcasts around the world.

Ladies and gentlemen, your brew of swampy twang, hook-driven rock ‘n roll and walls of unapologetic overdrive is served...
