Artist Information
Biography
Dallas is an interesting guy. As a teenager, he performed as a lead singer with "The Sounds of Freedom" who toured nationally and appeared on The Ed Sullivan Show. In his early 20's, he toured internationally with Dick Clark Concerts act "The Family Waye," and worked with radio sensation Jonathan Brandmeier as a song-writer, guitarist & founding member of "Johnny & the Leisure Suits."
While still in his 20s, Dallas designed, built, managed, and worked as an engineer in recording studios in Phoenix, San Diego, Key West, and Atlanta. He lent his talents as both a musician and engineer to a great many legendary acts including The Beach Boys, Hall & Oates, Three Dog Night, and a great many others.
In addition to working as a both a studio and for-hire side musician, Dallas also honed his songwriting skills penning radio jingles for stations throughout the country, including KTLA, Los Angeles; KDKB, Phoenix; KZZP, Mesa; WLUP, Chicago; 99X, Atlanta; to name a few.
During the late-90s, Dallas went back on the road and toured as lead guitarist with Dennis Yost & The Classics IV (Spooky, Stormy, Traces, et cetera), while also serving as VP of A&R for Centennial Records.
Additionally, Dallas is a Phi Beta Kappa, Summa Cum Laude graduate of Arizona State University, where he studied chemistry and social psychology, and in April 2011, he will be competing in the Boston Marathon - we told you he's not like the other guys!
