Biography
Born Jersey girl and raised on the beaches of Southern California, Annie Calder now calls both coasts home. Her influences stretch from 60s classic rock to contemporary alternative, and her music appeals to listeners of all ages. Her semi-sweet pop/folk sound is sprinkled with humor, poignancy, honesty, surprise and warmth. Soothing harmonies and hooky choruses deliver her straightforward lyrics right to your heart. She's been described as "Enya Meets Neil Young."
Annie's currently performing her songs as well as covers in small, intimate venues, coffeehouses and songwriter showcases, both in NYC (Bitter End, Living Room, Duplex) and LA (Hallenbeck's, The Mint, Genghis Cohen).
Annie's won many awards for her writing, including the numerous ASCAP Plus Awards, Songwriters Hall of Fame "Best New Writer" Award, and finalist honors from UK Songwriting and USA Songwriting contests, and she's been featured in American Songwriter magazine.

Discography
Annie's first solo CD, CHANCES AT LOVE, was released Fall 2011 and was nominated for a 2012 Grammy Award by the Recording Academy. Many of Annie's songs are currently airing worldwide on internet, satellite, college and regional radio stations, and in cable TV shows and commercials.
Annie's currently in studio recording songs for her second CD and a holiday EP, both targeted for release late 2012/early 2013.
