Stereofly Collective (http://www.stereoflycollective.com) and Vulcan Army Booking (http://vulcanarmybooking.com/) is looking for a date somewhere to host a CMJ showcase in NYC between Oct 18 and 22. Stereofly is a collective of bands from the Southeast that play together and support one another. We also have a music blog that covers music and entertainment.

We will be releasing a vinyl LP split from Shallow Palace and Sleepy Eye Giant. They will be touring together in support of their spit vinyl and will be headed to CMJ and I was hoping to put these two bands in your club and if you are interested in having me put together a whole showcase for any day during CMJ (oct 18-22) I would reach out to the following bands about coming to do a showcase:

Shallow Palace (http://www.shallowpalace.com)
Sleepy Eye Giant (http://sleepyeyegiant.bandcamp.com)
All the bands on Vulcan Booking
Grand Prize Winners From Last Year (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Grand-Prize-Winners-From-Last-Year/12819907643)
Jeremy Ray & The Gonzo Orchestra (http://www.thegonzoorchestra.blogspot.com/)
Vestibules (http://www.myspace.com/vestibulesmusic)
efren (www.efrenmusic.com)
Josh Roberts & The Hinges (http://www.myspace.com/joshrobertsandthehingesrock)
Spring Tigers (http://www.myspace.com/springtigers)
Kid Anthem (http://kidanthem.bandcamp.com/)
Junior Astronomers (http://juniorastronomers.bandcamp.com/)

I have a lot of friends in Brooklyn and NYC, and I'd get them on promoting this right away. One of them worked for Bonnaroo as an intern and is eager to promote. I would be inviting as many industry people (engineers, producers, promoters, record labels, etc) as I can to come out to the showcase.

This will be my first CMJ showcase, so I can't guarantee anything, but I have worked for All-In Entertainment (www.allinent.com) for 5 years and have promoted my own shows for about 6 or 7 years now. I graduated with a degree in Public Relations, and will be working hard to get press and radio.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Biography

Shallow Palace formed in the summer of 2005 and has been writing, recording, and performing live ever since. In addition to shows in their hometowns (Greenville & Columbia, SC and Athens, GA), the band has performed in countless cities throughout the Midwest, Northeast and Southeast.

Shallow Palace’s sound has been described as "indie rock" by some fans, while others praise the group’s penchant for energetic, back-to-basics rock and roll. The members themselves have varying influences, but the band’s sound finds its core in the bravado, energy, and passion of punk rock and roll.
