Biography
Jerrett Lyday created Monastery in Denton, TX in 2008 in response to the seemingly bland and unchanging music scene. He draws heavy influence from bands such as Explosions in the Sky, Lymbyc Systym, and Mono. While Monastery is still a relatively new act, he has gained an increasingly large amount of attention on the Denton music scene, truly appealing to people's desire to hear something different and new.
