Artist Information
Biography
Jude Gonzalez began playing guitar and writing songs at age 11. Inspired early on by Motown, Rock, Blues, Folk, and Jazz, her music ventures in and out of these various flares of mood while sustaining its own identity in a grungy form of clean. In the winter of 2008, Jude launched her first album "Raw" and performed at The Deep Ellum Arts Festival two years in a row. Jude kept herself busy playing local shows in Dallas/Fort Worth. Then in the spring of 2010, Jude met drummer Yun Kim at Shake Rag Music Store along with an established ensemble of musical talent, Todd Howe, and Eric Wilson of Sublime. Jude and Yun embarked on a new musical journey, recently joined by Gaika James on trombone & Emsy Robinson on bass. Constantly re-inventing herself Jude is currently working on her latest EP due out later in 2011.
