Biography
"The music of St. Terrible is the music of home. Not the home where the heart is, but the home that breaks it. Strained, elegant vocals, resonant, acoustic guitars, primal,
guiding drums and bass, St Terrible voices the cries of anyone born with a broken heart and empty dreams. The band uses their five-song EP, “Hauntings” to draw out
the raw honesty and gorgeous melody that comes from exile. It’s as terrifying as loneliness, as beautiful as an ex-lover, and sobering like the mornings we wake up
only to realize that the bed we slept in is no longer ours."
-Conor Zaft
Originally founded by Idaho-born guitarist/vocalist Zach Herbert, St. Terrible was created after Herbert moved to Phoenix. To curb his feelings of isolation, Herbert and drummer Matt Levy took to the streets of Phoenix. It wasn't until the recording of the first album "Hauntings" that the music turned into something viable. St. Terrible has since turned into a volatile, collaborative art rock project. They have an ever-changing member line-up, which allows for a constant flow of new musical ideas.
Since moving to Northern Washington, St. Terrible has amassed a new group of members, giving the band a 5 person line-up.
(St. Terrible is also part of the Music/Art Collective known as House of Upside down)
